On my website, I shall evaluate or highlight items and services on a regular basis. If I feel it is a decent product and the merchant selling it has an affiliate program, I have no problem referring people to it via an affiliate link, which means I may get a commission or other form of income if you purchase the product recommended.
I would never misrepresent a product in order to get an affiliate commission.
